Made a trip up to the light today and we had fantastic weather for being up in the roof, not too hot or too cold.
The goal of this trip was to clean the mirror with the help of my 15 year old nephew who crawled in the light to clean it. We can now check that off the list of things to do which is a great feeling.

The elevator and/or platform continues to be the biggest obstacle to this project. We did some more troubleshooting of the elevator and greasing rails and cables and it still does not move as smoothly or evenly as it could. I know that this is a very specialized application and have reached out to the following elevator companies with no luck of any of them wanting to look at this for us.

If anyone has a recommendation of an elevator company we should reach out to or would like to lend their expertise we would be beyond grateful!! We are aiming to have someone guide us on best steps to get this working it's best with the most cost conscience approach (Understandably a big ask but there is not a massive budget for this project)
