Last Friday June 20th the searchlight was featured on KMOV.   The news segment highlighted the needs we have to get the light shining again over University City.   The absolute biggest NEED now is the elevator and getting it to work reliably.  I have been telling everyone that will listen that if we get the light out of the roof and the elevator refuses to bring it back in the project will be over as the city council chambers sit below it.  The city would not let us back in the roof and the light may never see the "light" of day again in my generation.  That is why the elevator at the moment is the linchpin of this project.  After the airing of the story I have gotten a few more leads from individuals potentially interested in this project.  If you believe you have the knowledge or expertise that can assist I would love to hear from you!  Please fill out the contact form on the website and include your email and phone number.  I will then be sure to reach out!!
